The previous logo and brand identity for 12ONE21 was originally conceived in 2006. It had a lot of street / grunge / urban influence and reflected the freelance clientelle the business had at the time. Moreover, the website was also long overdue for an overhaul with new folio content as well as more up-to-date HTML and CSS coding to reflect what I've learnt since 2007 in frontend development.
Thusly, together with the relaunch of the website in 2011, a rebranding of the logo identity was designed for 12ONE21 Design to reflect the back to basics, keep it simple philosophy but together with a bit of Asian influence in its composition and asymmetry. The redesigned website would be responsive for different media sizes from desktop to tablets to mobile devices. Typography chosen for the website included a modern thin main heading Open font "Raleway Thin" in conjunction with the text font being "Helvetica Neue."
