INTEL ULTRABOOK MICROSITE
UI/UX & Web Design
In 2012, Intel launched a line of next generation notebook called the Ultrabook. A specification and trademarked brand by Intel, the Ultrabook line were a class of high-end subnotebooks designed to feature lightweight form-factor without compromising on battery life. In order to be categorised as an Ultrabook, they must use low-powered Intel Core processors, solid state drives, and a unibody chassis.
Intel Australia provided a limited set of Ultrabook assets and branding guidelines for the use of this co-branded information and resources microsite. At launch it had to showcase the range available from various major notebook manufacturers while covering the main features of an Ultrabook. I designed concepts in Photoshop and once approved, I coded and developed the site in HTML4 and CSS2 together with a jQuery script for the main hero slider.
